Q: Is my payment information secure?
A: We take security very seriously and we highly recommend you read a blog post on Credit Cards, Security and Order Problems. It should address many questions about the ordering process, including the security of your payment. As part of the security, we have a SSL certificate issued by Thawte. You can click on the graphic above right to verify our certificate with Thawte. This graphic is also found at the bottom of all pages in Graphics Unleashed Media Marketplace.
Q: Why am I getting an error message when attempting to checkout?
A: Most likely you are using Internet Explorer 10 or higher and you need to change a setting so many sites, including ours, work correctly again. We have documented the problem and the very easy solution.
Q: How may I use the content that I purchase?
A: This and much more is covered in the License Agreement.
Q: When will I receive products that I purchase?
A: Products available for download will be available as soon as your payment clears and a human at Unleashed has processed your order. You will receive an e-mail with downloading instructions. You can also click the My Orders button at the top of each page to learn more about your orders, past and present. If you have ordered a physical product, it will be shipped to you by the shipping method you chose when checking out. Orders that were shipped by FedEx can be tracked and you will receive an e-mail with that tracking information. Purchasers living outside the US who chose to have a product mailed will not receive a tracking number.
Q: I'm not receiving any of the e-mails, why not?
A: Most likely some sort of spam filter is blocking the e-mails. It is also possible that you typed your e-mail address incorrectly or the address has changed since you first registered. Make sure you whitelist the unleash.com domain in any mail filtering applications (or at least the two addresses shown at right) and verify that we have the correct address on file. Click the My Account button at the top of the page to view or modify your details.
Q: How can I change my e-mail address, username, password, address and other information?
A: Please give the blog post titled Make Sure All of Your Account Information is Accurate as it shows you how to do many common tasks at Graphics Unleashed Media Marketplace.
Q: What is this zip file I'm downloading?
A: If you have ordered a downloadable product, it will be supplied to you in a Zip file. Inside of that zip file will be the content you purchased. It could be a single files, it could be thousands of files. It all depends on what you purchased. The zip file simply provides us a way to combine everything into a single compressed file that is easy to download. If presented with a dialog box, make sure to save the Zip file to disk! If you don't know how to work with zip files, we have a blog post that provides all the details. If you are getting a report that the zip file is corrupted, it is most likely being caused by your anti-virus software.
Q: How do I download the content I've purchased?
A: We have created a page that explains the entire process.
Q: I am seeing multiple charges on my bank/credit card statement or even a single charge when you claim a payment wasn't received.
A: This most likely comes from using a debit card with "Online Credit Card" selected as your payment method. When you use a debit card, the system first asks your bank if there is enough money in the account. The banks then blocks that amount on your account. After that, the card is rejected by the fraud protection as it will always reject a debit card. You will still see the amount blocked on your account for a few days. There is nothing we can do to make it go away any quicker and it will automatically go away after a few days. If you wish to use a debit card, please select "Offline Credit Card" or "PayPal" as your payment method to avoid this.
Q: Who can author content for sale in the Graphics Unleashed Media Marketplace?
A: Anyone who has created original content can apply to be an author. When you register for the site, simply check the "Enable author rights" checkbox.
Q: How much will I earn?
A: Authors earn 50% on each of their products that sell.
Q: How do I add a new product for sale?
A: Once you have been approved to be an author, you will find a My Products button at the top of the page. Click the My Products button and then the Add Product button. Now you can add a product name, description, price as well as uploading a thumnail and the product itself.
Write a good description so that potential buyers have as much information as possible on the product they are buying. If you are supplying artwork in a proprietary file format (CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc.), make sure to specify the version of the file you are supplying. If possible, try to save backwards a few versions so the file could be used by the widest possible audience. Thumbnails can be uploaded in GIF, JPG or PNG format and we suggest you make the thumbnail 250 pixels square. The product files should all be included in a single ZIP file. Only files in ZIP format can be uploaded. You'll also be asked to put your product in a category. If you don't see a category that is a good fit for your product, please contact Graphics Unleashed and request a new category.
Q: What sort of products do you want?
A: Any product that meets the needs of our users. If you aren't sure if something would be a good fit, please contact Foster at Graphics Unleashed and he'll be glad to give you his opinion.
Q: I uploaded a new product and it isn't showing up for sale.
A: After a product is uploaded, we have to approve and enable it. Typically this will happen within one business day.
Q: When and how will I be paid?
A: Authors who have earned at least $25 (US) will be paid in the middle of the month following the month in which the sale took place. All payments will be made via PayPal in US dollars. When you sign up to be an author, you will be asked for the e-mail address on record with PayPal that we will use for payment.
Q: What is the Affiliate Program?
A: We know that many of your can be great promoters for the content we sell and we want to encourage you to promote our products. Affiliates will earn a 10% commission on all products they sell, directly or indirectly. Please read the Affiliate Agreement carefully!
Q: I am an author, can I also promote my own products as an affiliate?
A: Absolutely! In fact we encourage you to do this. Even better, you will earn the 50% on the product plus the 10% affiliate commission. You will probably also sell other content as an affiliate and earn the 10% commission on those products.
Q: How do I create links so that I can receive credit for my referrals?
A: When you are approved as an affiliate, you will receive an e-mail with linking instructions.
