When users are choosing an image editor, they often find that there are many good books
and tutorials on Adobe Photoshop and a limited amount of tutorials and books on
Corel PHOTO-PAINT. The good news is that the programs are so similar that you can often
use training materials for one product to learn the other if you simply know the different
terms used in each program. In this tutorial, I’ll give you a list of the features as well
as the terms used in each program. Where it is relevant, I’ll also show you a dialog box
from each application so that you can see the differences. All information is based on
Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Corel PHOTO-PAINT X3.
