Quickly Replacing Colors

One of the questions that is often asking during one of our CorelDRAW Boot Camps is how to quickly change all the colors of an image to grayscale, to a spot color or just to other colors. Two new tutorials are now available on the Web site that describe ways to accomplish this task.

The first tutorial covers the Find and Replace Wizard. There are a number of different ways to use this Wizard to change colors to alternate color models, colors or grayscale.

The second tutorial covers Color Styles. I remember the first time this feature was shown in the program that would soon become Corel Xara and then back to what is now Xara X1. It was at a CorelWORLD Conference in Dallas and people were wowed with how easily a complex graphic could be changed to a new color scheme. CorelDRAW got this feature back in CorelDRAW 7 and it is a hidden gem for those needing to make color changes.

With these two tutorials, you'll learn several techniques for changing the colors in vector artwork. Not only will you get the colors you want, you should see a huge time saving over making these changes manually.
