Strip the Extra Size from Your Graphics
Do you know that every digital photo you take has some extra data that isn't used on the Web? Or that files sometimes have color management data that isn't used on the Web? This extra data simply makes files larger. The extra size makes them download slower and uses more bandwidth on your Web server.
The good news is that you can clean this extra data out of your files without affecting the image at all. I've tried several utilities and none of them were very easy to use. Now I've found something that works on a number of file types and is extremely easy to use. The program is called Strip File and it can clean GIF, JPG, PNG and HTML files with one click. You can either clean just a single file or a whole folder full of files with just a single click. Best of all, it is completely free. Download a copy and give it a try!

After downloading & trying StripFile, I did not see the magnificent results indicated. What was extremely unsettling is that StripFile moves all original files from their original folder into an identical folder name under a "StripFile" folder. Then it makes copies of those files it can reduce, and puts only them back into the original folder; thus disturbing user's file structure. This is not a good thing! Maybe this works most dramatically with photos, but it didn't dent jpg's, gifs, or pngs on my hard drive!
Hi Foster,
do you know why corel dont have a gallery showing pictures made with C-draw and photo-paint?
They do have though a gallery, but only with paint-shop pictures.
Another thing, in a all friendly spirit, why not making a new look of your great site?! It IS great!!!
Sometimes I feel as if google is all ruling.
You have a great site, but the design, look of your site could upgrade a little.
