Get Bryce for Free
Do you remember Bryce? For a while it was a Corel product. I can't remember exactly when, but it was at least a couple of years ago when Corel sold it to DAZ Productions. DAZ is running an amazing deal for the next few days. OK, so this offer absolutely expires on September 13th or so says their Web site. Until then, Bryce 5 is completely free.
What is Bryce, you ask? It creates "breathtakingly realistic 3D landscapes and animations" according to the DAZ folks.
To take advantage of this offer, go to the DAZ Web site. Follow the download link and you will get a zip file. Unzip the zip file into a folder and you'll find the bryce.exe file. Double-click on that file to run it.
Now the program will start. It will require you to go to the DAZ Web site and register the software. If you don't already have a DAZ account, you have to create and confirm one before you can register. Once registered, you can download a bunch of free presets.
Sure, you have to jump through a couple of hoops to get Bryce for free. But hey, it is free after all!
