CorelDRAW Service Pack 2 Brings Windows Vista Certification

Corel has released the long awaited Service Pack 2 for CorelDRAW X3 Graphics Suite. This release also brings with it compatibility with Windows Vista. The press release gives the basic information about the release. If you simply want to know what is fixed and to download the service pack, then we have that covered as well.

I've had the opportunity to run the service pack for a while now and have found that it does fix some of the most annoying problems. I've also been running it on Vista and find that the main programs work quite well. The only issue I've run into with Vista is that Bitstream Font Navigator just flat out doesn't work. It won't allow you to add any format of font without giving error messages. Clearly Microsoft did not test the other utilities in the suite when handing out the certification. I'll be anxiously awaiting the next fix so that I can properly manage my fonts on my Vista machine.
