Graphics Unleashed Undergoing a Makeover
It seems that every time I finish a new design for the Web site that I have a bunch of new ideas for the next redesign. I had been compiling notes for this redesign for quite some time now and the overall change will be major.
A few of the changes are already visible. The most noticeable is the navigation bar found at the top of each page. I worked very hard to make it easier to use and yet take up a lot less screen space. The menus are all Flash-based. Yet they load the menu items dynamically so they are also search engine friendly. It also is easy to update them which is a major benefit to me!
It was also time for a major redesign of the footers on each page. The new design is already on some pages of the site such as the blog pages. It will take longer to get all pages switched over as this involves rearchitecting many of the pages.
Various other graphics on the site are also being updated. Some are finished, some will be updated later as time permits.
The style sheet that controls all of the text formatting is also due for a major overhaul. I've yet to start on that part of the upgrade. Given the other work to do and my lack of free time, it may be a while before I can get to that part.
What do you think of the changes so far? Do you have any suggestions for future changes? I may not be able to implement your changes now, but I'll save them in my list of suggestions for the next time I do a redesign.
