Laser Engraving Boot Camp
With an upcoming CorelDRAW Unleashed Boot Camp labeled as being geared towards Laser Engraving, we get asked the differences from our "regular" Boot Camps. The quick answer is that we remove information of less interest to those doing laser engraving and replace those sessions with information of more interest to laser engravers.
The first day of the Boot Camp is identical. On the second day, we remove the Channel Chops session and move the Scanning session up from the last day to finish the second day. Most of the changes appear on the third day. We remove the Outputting Your Artwork session as it deals with color printing and add sessions on Corel POWERTrace, and using the imposition and print merge features to do multiple pieces of artwork on one piece of material. We also add a session entitled Laser Engraving that goes over a number of tips geared towards people in the laser engraving market.

There is also a big difference during class. With the majority of attendees being in the laser engraving business, questions and discussions tend to be more focused on laser engraving. And during breaks, attendees share various tips they’ve found to optimize their production process.
