Powertips Boost Productivity
In a year's time I talk to thousands of CorelDRAW users. Some are beginners and some have very advanced skills. Nobody, and I mean nobody, knows everything about the program. Even the engineers who created the program can learn something new on a regular basis by interacting with users.
Since there is always something new to learn, the next question is the value of the time you save if you learn a new way to boost your productivity. If you are able to do 10% more work in a given timeframe then you will be able to make more money. Yesterday I talked to a user who was using Microsoft Word to create all the promotional products for her business. Obviously she isn't going to be very productive since she is using a word processor to do the job of a graphics program. With the right software, she could boost her productivity many times over.
Many users are looking for a quick fix to boost their productivity. One of the best solutions for this is a series of short tips. Some of those tips will already be known, but even one or two tips can give a user a huge boost. Jeff Harrison has created a series of "Powertips" that give users just that type of boost. CorelDRAW Powertips I provides a total of 41 tips over 15 pages. In addition you get a workfile containing sample art for many of the tips. There is no doubt that every user can find at least five tips that apply to their workflow.
CorelDRAW Powertips II has thirty more tips and 13 full pages of information. It also has a value packed workfile to help you work through many of the tips. CorelDRAW Powertips III has another 13 full pages of information with 25 more tips and another workfile. Don't worry, these tutorials also include quite a few tips for Corel PHOTO-PAINT. If you simply need a boost in Windows productivity, check out Windows Powertips where you'll find 34 tips for getting more from Windows. All in all, the Powertips series has something for every CorelDRAW user!

Jeff's tutorials are among the most useful and for all the great ideas in them, the most cost effective way of spending just a few dollars to gain skills in a very short order.
Additionally, if someone wants to get up to speed overall, the ebooks by Foster, I've done both for 12 and X3, are incredibly valuable as well.
