Hump Day Hardware: NZXT Sentry LX High Performance Fan Controller

I've covered products this year that are practical for most every user. I've also covered a few frivolous hardware choices. Today's choice could fall into either category depending on how you use your computer. The NZXT Sentry LX High Performance Fan Controller will take up two drive bays on the front of your computer. In exchange, it gives you a beautiful display of information about your case temperatures and control over each of the fans.

Some of you will like it simply because it looks cool. Others will be thrilled that it monitors and controls each of the fans in your case to help keep your system running cool. Unless you are really pushing your system, the temperature is probably not a big concern for you. Pricewise, you can get this cool accessory for less than $60. To me, the bigger price you pay is giving up the two drive bays. When I build my next computer, I'll definitely consider adding one to my case.
