News of the Day: Corel Painter 11 Released

Corel has released the latest version of their natural media painting program, Painter 11. For those who have never used Painter, it isn't just another imaging editing program. It makes you feel as if you have a brush in your hand. And it is the application that truly shows off Wacom tablets.

Highlights of the new version are forty new variants for drawing and sketching. Documents can now store color profiles in a variety of file formats. This helps keep your colors exactly as you desire. The new Transform tool gives you Property Bar access for moving, scaling, rotating, skewing, distorting and applying perspective. You'll also find the color palette gives you sliders for adjusting the colors.
