Awesome Book Template Wanted
I want to take our future books and tutorials to a whole new level of design. I know that many of you create some amazing designs and so I'm asking for your help in creating a killer book template for us to use. To get all of the details, I've created a zip file containing sample text and graphics to use in the template design. The sample text in that zip file contains all of the production requirements. This way all designers are working with the same content allowing us to decide who creates the template we like best.
The deadline for us to make a decision is short. We need to have the sample templates by the end of May and we'll pick the best template by mid-June. Now you might wonder why you would want to help. How about getting $500 (US) if we decide that your template is the best!
Submissions can be created in either CorelDRAW or Adobe InDesign. All of the rest of the details are in the instructions you download. Download the sample text and graphics now (458 KB zip file) and get started on an amazing template. I really look forward to seeing all the cool designs!
