Font Friday: A Tale of Three Fonts, Part III
In the first two parts of this series we talked about the problems converting Mistral and Caslon Antique into PostScript Type 1 fonts at The Font Company. Today we'll go over the last of the three fonts and my favorite: Chromium One.
Just looking at the sample above, you can see why it is so complex. Inside of each character are shapes that simulate the reflections on chrome. I'm sure it would be a nightmare to cut and weed it from vinyl, but it sure looks cool in print!
