Global CorelDRAW Dinner

One of the things I find somewhat unique about CorelDRAW is the global community of users that I've had the chance to meet online through Compuserve, the Corel newsgroups and the various Web discussion forums. I've even been lucky enough to meet quite a few of the familiar faces.

Last night I got to meet one more member of the online community. Stefan Lindblad, an artist from Sweden, was in Phoenix on vacation. Stefan and I went to a well-know local Mexican restaurant for a great evening. His girlfriend, Mia, teaches the Adobe Creative Suite applications so we made sure to drop a few suggestions that she needed to switch to the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. We all agreed that the next dinner will have to be in Sweden as I've yet to visit that part of the world.

For those looking closely at the picture, you'll see that I'm proudly wearing a Jayhawk jacket. After their thrilling Orange Bowl victory, I had to continue to show my support. Now my attention will turn to the undefeated Jayhawk's basketball team.
