A Masthead for the Xealot

For those of you who are not familiar with the Xealot, I'll give you the Reader's Digest version. The Xealot is a bi-weekly newsletter for Xara 2 users that I have been editing for the last year or so. By way of explanation, Xara is pronounced zar-ah. Taking this a step farther makes zealot (a fanatic) into Xealot. And those of you who are Xara users will know what I'm talking about.

As of issue 24, this month, my contract with my sponsors (the folks at i/us) will expire and the Xealot will be no more. However, I'm ever hopeful that the folks at i/us will see the value of the Xealot to the Xara community and continue to fund it. Furthermore, I'm hopeful the Xealot will become a web-based newsletter. In light of that, I'm going to kill two birds with one stone and create a masthead for the new web-based Xealot, and show how I went about coming up with the ultimate design.
