A Superior Blend

CorelDRAW has the best Blend Tool in the business. Nobody else's even comes close. Not only that, DRAW has had the best Blend Tool for about a decade. In my not so humble opinion, the Blend Tool in DRAW 3 is better than Freehand 8's or Illustrator 8's vastly improved Blend Tools. DRAW is unique of the big three drawing apps for being able to blend groups of objects and groups of differently filled objects. Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge, DRAW is the only one of these three whose blend effects are live, meaning they can be altered at any time. If you alter the fill, or shape, or position of one of the beginning or ending shapes in a blend, the blend modifies itself accordingly. In this episode of LFTDC, we'll take an in-depth look at Blends and how they can be used to add extraordinary magic to ordinary found object logos. But first, indulge me in a small rant.

If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It!
