Good golly, it's September already! How did that happen? It was only yesterday that
I posted the second installment of Logos for the Design Challenged, and here it is
August and the next installment is due. Just when I think I'm getting caught up. Sheesh!
The theme this month is Joined At the Hip. We'll create six logos using combinations of
letters that have been made into one shape using a variety of methods. In typographic
terms, these are called ligatures. For this tutorial, we're going to use the letters G
and P, which happen to also be my initials. Coincidence? I'd advise using these letters
for this exercise. Then after you're familiar with the techniques, substitute your own
initials, or the initials of your client. But enough of this chit chat, you didn't come
here to hear me ramble on endlessly. Let's get cracking.
