Converting to 1-bit monochrome inside CorelDraw
Some industries require a coarse AM halftone dot for reproductive purposes.
Also, some designers simply like the look of the dots.
When converting to grayscale, it's important to convert with ICC off so that the solid black areas in the original art stay pure black.
Note that the conversion quality is a bit rougher than the results from GhostScript or PhotoShop for the very same conversion parameters. I'm going to need to suggest this improvement to Corel... ;-)
