Making a simple floor plan

Many years ago, Foster had a tutorial for doing this.

I could not find it, maybe if he still has it he can post it.

Anyway;

1. make some thin rectangles
2. align them to each other using R, L, T, B Shortcut Keys
   
3. weld certain rectangles together as needed
   
4. trim into them with another rectangle slightly wider than the walls
