Beginning with very early versions of CorelDRAW, the ability to create custom fonts was made available. This capability means that it is very easy to turn a set of simple drawings and logos into a font that can be easily used in almost every program.

This capability means that it is very easy to turn a set of simple drawings and logos into a font that can be easily used in almost every program. We’ll start out with a refresh on typography, then we’ll design a template
in CorelDRAW for font design. With the template in place, we’ll make a font. But even that doesn’t finish the job. Once the font has left CorelDRAW, we’ll use FontLab to tweak the font to a much higher level of quality.
