This digital thermometer measures both indoor and outdoor temperatures, and you can keep track of both by simply flicking a switch. Stand the nifty gadget on your desk to read your office temperature, and run the 10-foot cable with a small weatherproof sensor on the end out a window for outdoor temperature; an adhesive disk on the sensor allows it to be fastened to any clean surface outdoors. A switch on the back of the device changes the reading from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Hold in the clock bar on the front to see the time of day. Or, if you don't want to use the thermometer function, you can simply switch it to the clock setting for a continuous time display. With an extremely wide range of -58 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit (-50 to 70 degrees Celsius), the thermometer can be used to monitor temperatures in almost any home or work situation: deep freezer, refrigerator, drying or cool sheds, kennel, wine cellar, archives, car, and more. While the compact, go-anywhere unit measures only 2-1/2 by 2-1/8 by ½ inches, the bold 3/4-inch digits are readable from across a room.
