Calibrations on the glass are in both metric and imperial. After ice, juice, and spirits are mixed, the shaker's two halves fit together and stay together by suction during shaking. A little twisting and pulling and the two halves come apart for pouring. The stainless-steel Loft strainer (available separately) comes into play at this point.
