WMF Easy Pour hand blown glass wine decanter. Decanting is the process of pouring wine from a bottle into a carafe and is recommended for red wines. The main reason for this is to separate the clear wine from the deposit at the bottom of the bottle (influencing the quality of the wine). During the transfer the wine comes into contact with oxygen and can develop its bouquet better.

The decanter has a wider base than neck in order to expedite the oxidation process. The simple yet elegantly designed Dominus Magnum decanter has a rounded base and body that slopes into a long 4-1/2-inch neck, and a slightly flared 1-1/2-inch pouring lip. A bulb-shaped stopper covers the mouth between pourings.
