Complete Guide to MP3 Software and Hardware

To make your own MP3 or WMA files, we use MUSICMATCH Jukebox!. It will convert any music you have on CD to MP3 at any sample rate you want. If you are connected to the Internet, the album title, artist name and song titles will be downloaded from the massive CDDB database. I've yet to find a CD that wasn't in the database. This saves you a bunch of typing.

For playing music back on your computer, MusicMatch Jukebox is again the choice. Another popular choice is Real Jukebox. I don't find it as good at the recording process so I stick with MusicMatch for everything. Either choice allows you to create libraries and playlists of all your music.

MP3 Jukeboxes

Do you want to take music with you? Then an MP3 jukebox is the best solution. No more carrying a pile of CDs. No more listening to a bunch of songs you don't like. Just load up the Nomad jukebox with gigabytes of your favorite songs and you're ready to rock and roll. So you can keep track of all the songs, they can be organized into playlists, albums, artists and more. It really is a breeze.

MP3 Players

These hold a lot less music, but they are easier to take with you to the gym or a walk around the block.
