Those really small screws commonly used in electronics, computers and other appliances are broadly referred to as precision fasteners. They might look like miniature versions of regular-size screws but you cant use your regular screwdrivers on them at least not without producing many bad words because the tips are too large and don't seat properly. You need a set of screwdrivers with similarly miniaturized tips precision screwdrivers. However, those really small screws are often placed (intentionally?) where they're difficult to reach: in deeply-recessed holes or surrounded by obstructions that you really don't want to fool with unless you have to. Thats where this set comes in handy with extra-long shafts to go where no other screwdrivers can.
