While most homes have a pre-wired doorbell for the front entrance, for those that don't, using this wireless door chime module by Honeywell is a great solution. Other excellent applications would be for apartments, travel trailers, back entrances, garages, dorm rooms and offices. The bell push unit communicates with the chime module via radio frequency (RF) so no wires are required. There are multiple sounds available and tunes can be programmed to individual bell pushes (if others are added) to identify which doorbell is ringing. Additionally, there are visual indicators on the chime module which helps out those that are hard of hearing. The receiver chime unit can be free standing so you can take it wherever you go in the house, or it can be wall mounted with the included hardware. The bell push module is rated for outdoor use and has a UV resistant plastic housing with a rainproof push button. It can be mounted with included screws or double-sided tape. Each push module has also been individually coded to prevent interference with other transmitters such as PIR movement detectors and telephone ring detectors. The chime module requires three AA batteries for operation, sold separately.

This newly introduced ST18 wireless doorbell is a sister product of widely praised Sunnybell doorbells ST60, ST66 & ST78, which have been well known for their long transmission range and durability. This product comes with one pushbutton (transmitter) & one doorbell (receiver), the pushbutton runs on a 12V battery, which is included in the package, and the doorbell is a plug-in type, no batteries needed. This contemporary award-winning Jacob Jensen designed wireless doorbell features five different specially composed, high quality polyphonic tunes including a special tune designed for the hard-of-hearing. Select from several sounds including a classic town hall bell, knocking at an old wooden door, Contemporary lounge-inspired tune, Asian-inspired tune, or a low-frequency tune designed for the hearing impaired. Tunes can be assigned to individual bell pushes to identify which doorbell is ringing. One bell push is included with the wireless doorbell set but an unlimited number of bell pushes can be purchased separately and added to your configuration. The chime unit of the wireless doorbell can be free standing or wall mounted with the included hardware. The Bell push can be mounted with included screws or double-sided tape. Batteries are included and last up to two years. Alternatively a plug-in adaptor can be connected to power the chime.
