Product Description
Rabbet planes are the best tools for trimming shoulders, rabbets, grooves and tenons. Because the blade extends out to the sides of the plane, access to right angle corners is possible. The style of this rabbet plane is known as "bullnose" which describes the short extension in front of the blade. This short nose piece makes it possible to work close in corners and hard-to-reach areas. The front can be removed allowing this tool to also be used as a chisel plane.
As with all but the most expensive planes, this tool requires some tune up to acheive it's maximum potential. Your effort will be rewarded with excellent results! Instructions included.

The Lie-Nielsen No. 4 1/2 Bench Plane is based on the Stanley Bedrock model. Bedrocks were the top of the line; heavier and better made than the standard. Product Description
The Lie-Nielsen Low Angle Jack Plane is based on the Stanley 62. Ours is an outstanding plane. The low angle blade set with the bevel up (making this technically a block plane) was originally designed for end grain work. Our massive blade makes for very smooth cutting on end or long grain and figured woods. The blade is shipped with a 25° flat bevel. Using higher angles up to 40° gives excellent results on difficult grain. This can easily be done by honing a small secondary bevel at the higher angle. An extra blade on hand prepared this way is very handy.
The generous handle is hand-shaped for a comfortable grip. The soles are ground dead flat. Design and workmanship combine to make a tool that will be a pleasure to own and use every day for years to come.

Product Description
This solidly constructed bench plane from Stanley features an iron made from 1/8" steel for prolonged edge retention superior to most other planes, base and frog cast as a single piece to virtually eliminate chatter and make planing more effective and enjoyable, Norris type adjuster with lateral lock for cut accuracy, precision ground casting for flatness and cherry handle and knob for control and comfort. Throat plate and mouth are also adjustable for different types of wood. Base is 2-1/2" W x 10" L. Hone the iron before use to achieve exceptionally fine shavings.

Product Description
This nice looking spokeshave is made from rosewood with hand forged steel blade in a traditional way. The blade protudes the wooden body with two tangs and it can be adjusted by tapping on either tang. The blade can be honed on a fine grit sand paper on a flat surface and a strip of sand paper can be used to remove the burr. Not like other type of hand plane, shavings should be removed frequenty from the mouth during use.
