Ottawa, ON January 31, 2006 Corel Corporation today announced that Corel Painter IX has been recognized with a Hot1 Award from Professional Photographer magazine. Published in the January 2006 issue, the Seventh Annual Hot1 Award Competition honors trend-setting professional photographic products that are revolutionizing today's imaging industry. Corel Painter IX won the painting software category.
