Ruth Huking was a monthly winner in the 1996 Corel World Design Contest. Her landscape, Madera Canyon, was chosen a winner for the months of June/July 1996 Landscapes and Landmarks category. Since then she has won nine Honorable Mentions for other works in the World Design Contest.
Ruth is a "compulsive craftsperson" and other than one session with Unleashed Productions, is a self taught CorelDRAW artist. She works in both CorelDRAW 7 and Corel PHOTO-PAINT 7. She volunteers as a computer teacher at her local computer club. She is also a volunteer Mentor for children ages nine through fourteen and teaches students, one on one, to use CorelDRAW 4.
Every Saturday you can find her riding her bike about 25 miles with her friends in Green Valley, Arizona.
