The Standard Version of DRAWings for Home Embroiderers

DRAWings® X3 Standard Edition is the version of DRAWings designed for producing home embroidery designs. DRAWings® X3 Standard uses DRAW Stitch technology to convert vector images created in CorelDRAW X3 into premium quality embroidery designs. Various fabric presets can be used to adjust density, underlay and compensation for each design. A working knowledge of embroidery is not required in order to use DRAWings Standard Edition. DRAWings X3 Standard Edition can save files in most popular formats for both home and commercial embroidery machines. Every standard version of DRAWings can be upgraded to Professional Edition by purchasing an unlock code.

General Features of DRAWings X3 Standard Edition

• DRAWings Standard Edition includes CorelDRAW X3®Graphics Suite compatible with Windows 2000 and XP (requires 1.3 Ghz or higher processor and 512 Mb RAM).
• DRAWings™ Standard is fully compatible with the Smart Designs Art System. Any Smart Designs template or clip art image can be instantly converted to a digitized image.
• Any vector image that can be imported into CorelDRAW® X3 can be converted into embroidery stitches.
• Includes over 50 presets for popular fabrics including proper stitch densities, compensations and underlays.
• Compensations, underlay and densities are automatically recalculated when an image is resized in CorelDRAW®.
• Stitch types can be easily changed from a library of popular outline and fill stitches.
• Includes full 3D preview and print function for creating virtual samples and printing instruction sheets.

• Includes automatic thread matching of colors in the CorelDRAW® images to popular industry thread charts from Madiera, Coats, Robison, Gunold and Ackermann.
• Includes the integrated Wings Modular Basic 2.0 editing software. Create thumbnail databases, view designs stitch by stitch, edit stops, trims, starting points and ending points, view and change thread colors, calculate machine time, determine materials usage and print instruction sheets. Wings Modular Version 2.0 now includes individual stitch editing and manual embroidery sequence control.

VectorStitch Volume 1 - Stock Embroidery Collection for DRAWings (List Price $199)
DRAWStitch Technology has made possible an entirely new concept in stock embroidery. Traditional stock embroidery designs are saved in embroidery file formats that have severe limitations for editing and sizing. Furthermore, traditional stock embroidery designs are not capable of embedding editable fonts and text effects. With the release of the DRAWings embroidery software for CorelDRAW, SmartStitch designs have set a new standard in stock embroidery. SmartStitch designs contain both stitch data and vector data embedded in a DRAWings (.DRAW) format. VectorStitch designs are fully editable in the DRAWings software using the tools of CorelDRAW 12.

5 Incident Phone Support Package ($199 value)

Corel Corporation Does Not Offer Free Phone Support for DRAWings: Corel Corporation does not offer any free phone support for DRAWings. Various paid support plans are available from Corel ranging from $25 per incident to $299 for an annual 15 Priority incident plan for Small Business users. Corel does provide unlimited web-based electronic warranty support for DRAWings. Web-based support includes Corel's Knowledge Base, e-mail support and public newsgroups.  Warranty Support covers issues related to installation and product defects, including crashes and errors caused by the Corel software.
