Scope: This Corel-approved courseware is a true training manual where you read brief information about the topic then follow step-by-step through the exercises provided. Each exercise is easily understandable with logical steps to follow with comments, screen captures, and icons displayed where needed. The tutorials were written by Tom Anzai, a Corel-certified trainer and presenter at CorelWorld and Ventura Summit conferences. Great care was taken to ensure that the most relevant features of each application are discussed and presented in an easy-to-understand tutorial format.
Audience: This manual is intended to be used by students who would like to learn how to use the Corel Photo-Paint photo editing program. It is assumed the student has a high-quality video card (16 million colors +) and large monitor (17 inches +). This course describes how to get started, work with images and objects, apply masks, and create special effects. Though the initial exercises are geared for novices, intermediate topics will be revealed throughout the manual to demonstrate the possibilities of Photo-Paint. Step-by-step exercises lead the students through each topic. An end-of-section exercise and a short-answer questionnaire summate each section. Students are strongly encouraged to try the additional Section exercises after selected sections for extra practice. Comes with a downloadable exercise disk.
