With the popularity of the Star Wars series of films, many children (and children at heart) want to be a Jedi warrior. This tutorial asks you to start with a posed picture of your favorite future Jedi and walks you through the steps of sending them into space. The pictures at right show you the original posed image and the resulting Jedi. All this can be done in 30-60 minutes.
The tutorial was written for Paint Shop Pro v8 and higher. With minor translation, it can also be used with other image editors.
In order to build an image like this, you'll need plenty of pieces including a Death Star, Jedi robe and more. Fifteen images are included (in PNG format) to fill these needs and much more. There are also six special brushes for Paint Shop Pro to help you create some of the needed effects. Two gradients are described and supplied as Paint Shop Pro presets for your use. All of these resources and more are supplied with the tutorial so that you can easily complete this project.
