The Blue Coyote Gallery features contemporary and traditional Southwestern and Western custom furniture, accents and fine art. Norby Gallery of Fine Art represents and exhibits artists of the Southwest. Exhibit schedule begins in November and runs each year through May. Sonoran Arts League hosts the Hidden in the Hills Artist's and Studio Tour and Sale each November for two consecutive weekends. Don't miss out on this opportunity to see 157 artists in 46 working studios. The magic of live theater in the Foothills communities can be found at Desert Foothills Theater. FlightsFor those flying commercial, you should schedule your flights into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The airport code is PHX. From there it is about a 45 minute drive. We are 31 miles due North of Sky Harbor. For those who choose to fly a private aircraft or charter, the Scottsdale and Deer Valley airports are closer. Yes, we've had people ask several times. You can use the box at right to find the best flight! Rental CarsFor those who wish to rent a car, we highly suggest that you rent a car at the Phoenix airport. Many times a rental car will cost less than using the shuttle services. For those who would consider a taxi, please don’t as it would be very expensive. We highly suggest you rent a car or you will have trouble getting around. Use the box at right to find the car for you! From the Airport/Central Phoenix:Take the 44th St. exit and follow 44th St. North. After 10-12 miles, the road will curve to the right. Follow the curve and then turn left at the first light which is Tatum Boulevard. Stay on Tatum until it intersects Cave Creek Road (about 20 miles). Turn right on Cave Creek Road and go about 5 miles (you will cross the Carefree Highway). From the Carefree Highway it is 2.5 miles more. Take a left on Rancho Manana Boulevard which is just before the road turns to the right. Go .4 miles and turn left on La Canoa. Our office sits on the corner. Please park on the street or in the front yard and go around to the back of the house. We're behind the sliding glass door on the South side (the side with only one sliding glass door). Welcome! From I-17:Exit on the Carefree Highway and head East about 10 miles. Take a left onto Cave Creek Road. We will be providing handouts, but we highly suggest that you bring something to take notes on. You are welcome to audio tape the session, but no videotape please. We also encourage digital cameras as long as you are willing to share your shots with the rest of the class. MealsLunch is provided for all classes and a fantastic dinner is provided on the second evening of the Boot Camp. If there are any special considerations that we need to be aware of, please let us know at least a day in advance. We will also be providing soda and coffee throughout each class.
